photo - break in the match with Israel
rnOur match against Israel started at 8pm. When I met the Slovakian coach in the dressing room, he said: "Yeah, you're playing Canada." It took me a while to catch on, but I caught on pretty quickly. The Israeli team is made up of Canadians, some of whom live in Canada and others who have two citizenships. We gained an advantage after a good practice and successfully entered the game with a two. We improved our communication and were better throughout the match. It was over after eight ends. A short meeting with the coach and a rush to the A's hall, where the women's duel with the Danes culminated. From being tied after eight ends, the girls went up by two after great last stones. There were some minor errors in the tenth, but the Danes could only score for one and the Czechs got another win - their fourth in five games. Great. Tired but satisfied, we arrive at the hotel at 11:30. The morning is free, so we have a long breakfast. We don't play until 8pm, the girls play at 2pm.
