The women have played their sixth game, and the men are getting ready for it.
After six games, the Czech women have three wins and the same number of losses. The losses to Japan and Russia were significant and were influenced by a poor start to the matches, when we dealt with difficult situations from the beginning. We got into some of them after our own inaccuracies, but most of them were due to very good performance of the opponents. Kamila and David were given time off because they were not feeling well. On the recommendation of the team doctor we played the matches without them. The men easily managed the duel with the Slovenians (10 : 2), and thus got to four wins. Tonight's match against the Norwegians will be one of the highlights of the sixth round robin of the men. In Erzurum it has started to snow heavily, the streets are covered with a high layer of wet snow, under which are the frozen remains of the old snow. We have to be careful at every step. The food is of a good standard, a great choice and so far we have not tired of the Turkish versions of traditional dishes. Transport has improved considerably, we already have our own car and driver and the arranged times work.
