The four in the second end was the starting point on the way to the second win of our men at the 2011 World Curling Championships. The Chinese team (skip Yan Song Ji) had a weakness especially in the position of vice-skip, on our side played great Jindřich Kitzberger and the Snítil brothers also have a high standard. So after three games the Czech Republic has an excellent record with two wins and ahead of us are the undefeated curling giants Canada (Stoughton) and Scotland (Brewster). It is the Scottish newcomer on the world championship scene, Tom Brewster, with his young but relatively experienced team, who will be the Czechs' opponent today at 13.30 local time (21.30 ours). Scottish teams have not been an insurmountable obstacle for us in the past, so hopefully this time the coach of the men's team, Ellery Robicheaud, has a recipe for victory.
