Only the seventh match of the Czech teams brought success.

Czech Republic - Canada, 6 : 4, this is the result of the women's match at the 2011 World Championship in Perth. A single in the seventh and a double in the eighth, played without our advantage, were the decisive factors on the way to the first win of our women. All in all, the Czechs kept a pretty game relatively under control, except for the fifth end, in which we had a hard time digging out of a three (Canada's one in the end). Valuable win saved on deuce with Martina and good percentages on the back end. The morning men's match with the Finns was going well up to the halfway point. After that, however, even our overall improved play did not lead to a win. A final double to win the match gave the Finns one for one, thus earning their second win. In two hours we have a duel with China. The Chinese, with Huang on skip, have been rather improving so far, so it will certainly not be easy, but ours have also shown some improvement, so we can expect an interesting match, which will be shown again via the WCF website. photo: the winning stone against Canada goes
