Baudyšová vs. Wranå.

Bus number 30 stops near our Scandic Hotel, and after a 12-minute ride, it stops at the tennis courts at the Bygdøhus station. Since the weather is uncertain and there’s a high chance of rain, we choose this mode of transportation to the curling hall, which is nestled between the tennis courts and the soccer field. About a third of the way there, we pass a stately residence with dozens of floral tributes laid at its gates and many lit candles. King Harald V of Norway passed away two days ago, and this building is apparently one of his properties. The Norwegians clearly loved their king. Our fourth match, in which we’ll take the ice with Matylda Volfová as lead, will be another test for our newly formed five-woman team. We’re up against a young but very seasoned Swedish team led by Olympic gold medalist Isabella Wrana. After three ends, we’re trailing 2–3, but then we’re unable to keep pace with the well-playing Swedes, and after seven ends, we concede defeat. We finish the Nordic Tour tournament in Oselo with a record of one win and three losses. We’re taking home a lot of inspiration and experience, and we’re looking forward to training in Prague, where we’ll work on the areas where we weren’t convincing here in Norway.
