I've hardly seen a game yet. The 12-hour marathon of meetings really wore me out. So I can only report on the second half of the Czech women's match (skip Synáčková) against the Austrian team (skip K. Toth). With five stones to go it looked like at least an extra end, if not a win. Then the Austrians managed to play a very good double clear with an extra roll into the circle. We failed to guard. Toth played an accurate hit and roll and we were long with a draw. Too bad, the development was not bad, in the second half we gradually went from 2:4 to 5:4. We have to beat the Hungarians and make it through the extra session. A calm win against Spain is a good sign. The men beat the Italians, especially thanks to the threes in the second and seventh end. The result looks close (7 : 6), but from the course of the ends it is clear that Snitil's team had the upper hand over Ferronato's boys. photo: women's team meeting and one draw
