The Czechs have four games under their belt at the EJCC 2010.

The junior team has won all its group matches so far. The game against Finland was especially anticipated. Double take out by the first stone of Peter in the eighth end meant the victory of our colors. The afternoon match against Austria was characterized by the southern neighbors' efforts to "frise" us, but a strong response from us in the form of a six in the third end took the duel into the maintenance phase. Despite being seven down the Austrians still entered the eighth end, but after five stones had been played, umpire Tordrup had already put a big X on the scoreboard to make it clear that there had been a so-called mathematical elimination. We are left with the Dutch and the Poles in the group. Today's game against the Netherlands is very important for the final standings. If we win, we will be sure to move up from first place and will face the second team in the Green Group in the extra group.
