The Czech expedition is completely in place.

Wednesday and Thursday in Montreal were marked by a snowstorm that made traffic difficult. Several flights were cancelled and it was unclear which plane we would be taken on. Finally, after visiting the airport in person, we accepted an offer to stay at a hotel near the airport and transfer with a 24-hour delay. With the earlier flights, it was uncertain whether we would end up in Thunder Bay or Halifax, which would have meant a bus transfer (about 10 - 12 hours). Wednesday's exhibition friendly with Janet Fontaine's team was a nice end to our preparation at Saint Lambert CC. Sitting down with the team and club management and then saying goodbye almost touched us. On Friday morning, after getting up very early, we waited impatiently in the check-in hall to see if the flight would take place and what our destination would be. But all went well and our small propeller plane finally landed in Saint John after an 80 minute flight. Terky's luggage was also found and we, together with P. Lindholm, who had also suffered a snow storm, headed towards the hotel.
