Czech academics in Erzurum

On October 27, in the evening hours, four Czech academy women (Kubešková, Klímová, Plíšková and Jalovcová) with coach Kubeška arrived in Erzurum, Turkey for a test tournament before WUG 2011. The Czech Curling Association accepted the invitation of the organizers for a test, stressful curling event together with the associations of Switzerland, Scotland, Poland and Latvia. First impressions after the arduous journey are good except for one major problem, namely our luggage did not arrive. So we have no brooms, jerseys, clothes not to mention other necessities. The organizers are nice, the hotel is clean and well equipped, but what's it worth. Hopefully things will arrive at night and we will be able to start official training tomorrow morning.
