Czech teams are waiting for their first wins.
The Czech men didn't pull out a victory in yesterday's poorly played match against Denmark. The Danes read the lane better and in the second half of the match they were able to play repeatedly easier stones than we had to play. The second loss in the tournament is disappointing as it was a playable opponent. The women's team had Russia on the schedule this morning. The team led by skip Sidorova was a slight favorite. We had some good moments in the game, but it wasn't until the second half that the Russians were up by three and we were just tightening up. The effort was not enough and we lost to the Russians. In the round played from 14.00 the Czechs played against the favoured Norwegians with a changed line-up. Jakub Splavec jumped on the lead and Sam goes to the rings to Lukáš's stones. The game was evenly matched and it was only in the third period that the Norwegians rebounded and secured the win. In two hours, the girls go up against the Swedes.
