After the win against Austria (Toth), the Czechs will play their first extra-curricular match against the Hungarians (Szekeres), who, thanks to a better DSC, finished second in the table. The game will be played tomorrow at 18.30 on lane H. The second pair is made up of the Italians and the Austrians. The men played a nerve-wracking duel with the Russians (Drozdov). Our team managed the end better and so the last tap back on one with an advantage (5 : 4 in the extra end) gave the Czech colours a lot of percentage hope to keep the A group, but also a decent starting position for the world qualification. The men play their last group match tomorrow against France. Personally, I can barely keep up with the important meetings, but the main load is yet to come. At least one piece of information from the rule changes - the nonsensical time-out with running time has been modified and enriched with non-running time (travel time) for the coach to reach the team without jumping over the fence or running a 50m sprint.
