Czech academics in Spain.

The Czech national curling team, consisting of Kryštof Chaloupek (skip), Jakub Splavec, Martin Jurík, Jan Sedlář and Tomáš Zelenka, arrived at the venue of the 27th World Winter Universiade. Granada is the capital of Andalusia. The Alhambra, which the Czech team visited, is particularly interesting in terms of tourism. We have already had a pre-tournament training session (5 x 15 minutes), which revealed some tricky things that await us. Apart from some new rules, applied since November 2014, there is also 90% humidity in the hall and quite a lot of dirt, which is a result of the late completion of the construction. We're all fine, even after two football matches that we took really seriously. Food is ok, housing is also ok, we don't need transport as the hall is about 5 minutes walk away. The opening ceremony was "Spanish". Interesting program and a bit of chaos. Tomorrow we have the British from 14.00.
