Czech Republic - Korea, over after seven ends.

Breakfast at 6.50 local time is not a pleasant thing. The cold and smog don't help the mood either. That's the folklore that accompanies morning games. Our opponent today was Korea, a somewhat erratic team. Most of the players are relatively experienced, they all have very good technique, as is common with Asians, sometimes they burn on tactics, but that's only when the situation gets very complicated. We ordained the same approach as in the previous matches and the opening went well. A promising 5-1 lead at the half and an instruction not to change tactics at this point and to continue with the tried and tested approach. A minor setback came at the start of the seventh end, but the potential threat of trouble was averted by the Korean skip herself, who double-faulted and we registered a four after a perfect hit and stay. The Koreans hesitated for a moment but then decided not to continue. Winning 9 : 2 is very pleasant and also pleasing is the concentrated performance of the team consisting of Šárka Doudová, Kamila Mosová, Lenka Kučerová (it's her holiday today, so if you forgot to wish her a happy birthday, you can still fix it), Luisa Illková and Eva Štampachová.
