At 17.00 we start the second match in the group. Our opponent is Austria (Schmitt + Schmitt). Since they beat the Danes, we should not underestimate them. We are leading after half of the match, but it's nothing convincing. In the fifth end a stone comes in, which makes the end played on our deuce a deuce for the opponent, and we have to answer with a take out feather - a double played on a light touch of the front and a subsequent knock out of the stone behind it. The stone doesn't come out quite accurately and so the opponent writes one. We counter with three and calm down. In the last end Karel plays the first stone in front of the circle (a mistake), so we take a time out, and after that (with our third played stone) we've knocked out everything we see and the ending ends with a premature hand from the opponent. Valuable win 9 : 4. The ice listened to us better than in the first game, yet twice dirt on the ice (once hurt, the second time not even), we switched posts (Charles first and last stone), Anna plays LSD. Tomorrow we have two games. Compared to the program so far, it's really an overload of organisms.
