The next "Europe" starts tomorrow with training.

Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. This is the second time that the local organising committee, made up of curlers, has organised a major sporting event here. After the World Junior Championships, it's the European Championships. The Estonians, mostly young people, are very sympathetic towards the WCF. They are modest, but they make no secret of their goals, which include becoming respected organisers of the biggest curling events. Both Czech teams are already staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The squad consists of five players, five female players, a physiotherapist and three coaches. The trio has an internal ratio of one Czech and two Canadians. The journey from Prague was via Riga, where we really just hopped from one plane to another and around 2 o'clock local time we watched the local architecture from the bus windows, which is a mix of Scandinavian elements with predominantly Russian elements. We are looking forward to the city centre, which I'm told is nice. In the evening we have a team meeting where we discuss everything important and get ready for tomorrow, when we will have a pre-tournament training session to get familiar with the ice and stones. Everyone is healthy and excited for one of the highlights of the season.
