Dandy for the second time.
Today from 14.00 the tie-break for the semi-finals with the women of Denmark (Risdal). We were looking at a considerably shorter opening period than yesterday. The slight nervousness was only relieved when we played a one in the fourth with our opponent's advantage and tied the score. The ladies played well again and Gundry in particular troubled us with good take outs. A triple take out in the sixth end averted the trouble that the Danes were facing, but we still took the lead for the first time against this opponent after playing a deuce. A stolen one in the seventh was a strong indication that we were in it to win it. In the ninth, a nicely played three definitely decided it. We're in the semifinals! Tomorrow we'll face the Russians - third (us) against fourth. 12.00 pm.
