The Oslo junior tournament continued with the second day of play, featuring both Czech national teams. The women showed a concentrated performance in their last game, in which they faced the Swiss team (skip Einspieler). Although they could no longer advance to the superstructure, they fought to the last stone and lost to a quality and experienced team after a balanced match. The men played a trio of matches today. First they beat the Danes (Vilandt) in the morning, then the Swiss (Caccivio) in six ends and needed to beat the Norwegians (Oppdal) to confirm their progress to the semi-finals of the tournament. After a tug of war at the start of the match, the Czech men got a slight lead, but lost it in the seventh end. Four feet were left for the last Czech stone, and that was enough to make tomorrow's program include a "Czech track". From 9 o'clock we play against the German juniors (skip Kapp) and we have the advantage of the last stone in the first end, because we won our group over the Scots thanks to a better DSC.rn
