The women beat the Finns 7-2. But it was the only thing that worked today. In the evening matches, the men first finished their duel with Germany. The result was also 7 : 2, but for the opponents. The Germans ran away from us at the start to 4 : 0. The situation improved so that after the fifth end it was 5 : 2 and we had the advantage. It was possible to make contact with just a deuce. But we didn't win that one, even though we were centimetres, maybe even just millimetres short. Our mixed doubles pair lost to the USA 4 : 7, but they still hold an excellent chance of advancing to the eighth round from a good position. Tomas dealt with some minor problems with a pulled muscle during the day, but everything seems to be fine. Everything continues tomorrow.
