04.04.2011,

This morning without Czechs and a bit boring.

Canada beat Korea quite easily. The Scots beat the Germans when Andy Kapp took a bad gamble in the fourth end and basically never recovered from the three he got. The Swedes chopped China 9-1 in seven ends, and the Danes pulled a bit with France, but Skip Stjerne (54% success rate) couldn't confirm some decently played ends, so the somewhat less focused French pulled off a quiet win in the end. Our team is looking forward to the Scots, Martin is fighting with some virus, but so far successfully. Czech TV has put the win over the Norwegians in the headline sports coverage and promised that curling news about the Czech matches at the World Championships in Regina will be on the daily sports coverage.
