rnThe name of the Czech women's curling scene is Sokol Liboc 3. Anna, Bětka, Terka, Klára and Ežen have everything in their arsenal that an ambitious amateur team representing an Olympic medal sport should have. First and foremost, it's a combination of confidence and humility with a reasonable weight on both sides of that coin. Next is technical ability, very good fitness, strategic skill and a sporting heart. The implementation team that has managed to form around these talented girls also has quality. However, in order for the team to dream of raising the level to at least semi-professional quality, a little more money needs to be secured to create a time margin in which the skills and abilities can be developed even further. The federation is only able to provide part of the necessary funds, but what it could certainly do is to create space for this team to participate in international competitions, help in marketing and simply try to make this successful team a showcase for our sport. Or at least do no harm.
