Morning with the Japanese girls.

Subtle Japanese women with little international experience played the match with Czech women quite easily. A minimum of mistakes, perhaps only one or two major ones, gave the Japanese the lead after halftime. We were a bit late in adjusting our tactics and also missed some important stones. We tried one final end at 3 : 7 and there was a glimmer of hope after two errors by the opponent, but Ayane Matsumura kept the ending in sight and the Japanese have their second scalp in a row. We will face the Americans at 19.00 local time (12.00 Czech time) and we need to beat them to have a chance for the semi.
