Two games, basically in a row.

We played against Team Hegelstad from 11.00am, who played a very evenly matched Flexey team on the track next door yesterday. After a zero in the first end (no advantage) we went up by two after five ends, but our opponent equalised. The eighth end, tied with advantage, was decided by Terka with an excellent double clearing. Bětka and Anna did not make any mistakes in the same discipline and Anna confirmed the good performance of the Czechs with the final draw on the tee line. A nice match was played by Ežen. We talked about it before going to the hall, but we let it out of our minds a bit, that if we win, we will go on the ice again in a few minutes. So, for a change, Klara and I played Ogasawara a few minutes after the win over Hegelstad. Again, a very even game, culminating in a tied eighth end with our last stone advantage. This time it was a little different. The Japanese managed to play well and we didn't have time to clear the field in front of the circle. Anna with her first stone needed a freeze on the tee, which she did with good judgment and great throwing. Ogasawara responded with an accurate double take out, after which the situation remained similar, that is, Japan's best stone, just behind the tee line, but hidden behind the guard somewhere on three. Anna showed steady nerves and unerringly threw the same. We have another win and tonight at 10 local time we go to Tirinzoni, who outplayed Feltcher in the Swiss derby.
