Flims hosts the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships.

The seven-member Czech team arrived yesterday evening in Flims, Switzerland. Everyone is fine, only Jirka is nursing a cold. The hotel is pleasant, the weather is wintery - snow and frost, the distance from the hall is acceptable - about 8 minutes walk and moreover all the luggage arrived without any problems. We walked to the Flims - Waldhaus hall. Six lanes are reduced to five, the ice is almost finished, all that is left is to install the bouncing blocks and fine tune some small things. From the organizers we have all the documents for the stay including vouchers for the party. We have a shop right behind the hotel. Some of the players, medalists or coaches came directly from Vancouver. Tomorrow after noon is the team meeting and then practice on the lanes. Photo: indoor hall interior, team
