Hajkova versus Zappone.

A match of two parts. We're 3-1 up at the half, and despite the mistakes that lost us at least two more points, we're the better team. The Italians have experience from the European Championships in Stavanger and from the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games, but they are not playing well and offer us opportunities to win the game. But we gratefully refuse and in the second half we lead the match to an unnecessarily dramatic ending in which we end up losing with a final hit and roll out. That was us in the tenth with the advantage tied. It just didn't work out. Hit and roll outs were more than we wanted or needed. Zappone saved her team a couple of times, and although the Italians didn't play well overall, unfortunately, it was enough for us this time. Tonight we go to the Scots, who beat the Americans at noon.
