Real curling is literally around the corner. We've moved into the Sheraton Hotel and had another test and temperature measurement. We log the temperatures into a special app that will issue us permission to enter the lobby after answering seven questions correctly (the correct answers are NO) and an acceptable temperature. We have the accreditations and know the date of tomorrow's training. The hall is 700 meters from us. We're one step closer again. The team with the positive test results are the Germans. They haven't been seen for a few days, probably the strictest isolation. The official WCF report says that Germany will not participate in tomorrow's training, but there is no mention or report of a possible cancellation of the German team's participation in the championships. We are not dealing with it. In an hour we are going to draw lots with the Chinese women for the order of practice in their match and in the evening Anna and I will participate in the online team meeting. The weather has turned spring-like. Temperatures above 15 degrees, sun in the sky and no rain. In the hotel parking lot, Canadian women sit in camping chairs and chat. A little further down the road, Danish women are sitting on the curb doing the same. Korean women march by in an orderly fashion, and a little further on Russian women kick a ball that resembles a hakisaku. An Italian sits on one of the balconies, our Petra turns off her hammock on her balcony, and Brad, in shorts, stands at the railing of his room and watches the surroundings. We are not allowed to leave the hotel grounds, which in practice means spending time in the parking lot or in our room. We really like our sport.rn
