The Italians beat us in the end. Czech girls versus Swedes.
The Italians finished last night's game with a good defensive effort to finish 2-5. We'll be on the road against the Swedes in a moment. The women opened their score sheet this morning against the ambitious Swedes (Mac Manus). After a decent start, we got a little lost in the game. We struggled with the draw and couldn't create. The penalty came in the form of a four and the opponent's lead of 1 : 5 and then 2 : 6. The end belonged to us. Some very good stones helped us get within striking distance - 5 : 6 after nine ends and a brilliant finish with a bit of luck eventually resulted in a 7 : 6 win.
