How it really was with the Norwegian pants.
It is amazing how small the world is and how easy it is to get information that is interesting and exciting. Steve Shee is a nice guy who not only plays curling, but also photographs and thinks about curling from every possible angle. In 2009, he was watching a curling tournament from the stands and realized how boring the players were dressed. It occurred to him that it would be interesting to play in trousers with wild colourful patterns and he didn't hesitate to make his idea a reality. He believes that the Norwegian players spotted him somewhere before the Olympics and were inspired by his idea. In short, they stole his idea. He doesn't begrudge the Norwegians the money, he's just sorry he hasn't been recognised as the inventor of the crazy coloured pants. Steve and one of his "pants"
