How do you make 5-0 a drama?

We were looking forward to seeing the British, actually the Scots. In recent years, all our national teams have known the recipe for taking on Scottish teams. We started the game with confidence and were 5-0 up at half-time. The girls played really well and made the Scots desperate at times. Things subtly turned around after the break when we unplanned switched to the defensive and regularly ended ends with an easy draw against both the one and the three. After nine ends the score was 5-5 and nerves were on the march. In the end, both teams alternated great stones and blunders. Sarah showed better nerves than Sarah Reid and as a result did not have to throw the last stone. The Scot didn't play a freeze and the 6-5 win is ours. A valuable scalp! The Swedes lost big to China and probably paid, like us, for the non-curling atmosphere created by the Chinese spectators. Canada, Russia, Korea won.rn
