A nice, clean draw with good guessing and domination really got us the deuce and we got our sixth win in a row. Tonight we will face the Italians, whose team is a combination of generations. Alvera and Olivieri for the more experienced ones and Menardi and F. Apollonio for the younger ones. The men lost to Russia 3 : 8 after eight ends. At the bottom of the men's table are now the Czech Republic, Scotland, Holland and Italy with the same score. The match Switzerland - Sweden had an interesting ending, where Sundgren slipped at the last deciding stone and "set fire" to the stone.
