Canada - Czech Republic

The basic tactical instruction was not to be afraid and play offensively. The start came out beautifully, the girls were brimming with confidence, and except for the end, in which we threw the last stone against the 4 (it ended up being one for Canada), we could be happy with the first half. In the second half, however, we made mistakes which the Canadians were able to punish with their improved performance, and so after a good performance, which would certainly have been enough for the French, we lost 10 : 6. We also got into a time crunch and played the last stones a bit stressed. We have to be more careful, it's not the first time. In Canada tomorrow is the change of time to daylight saving time, so we will get one hour less sleep. photo: Canadian team led by coach Rob Meakin
