The book MEDAILE FOR A MOMENT, (NOT ONLY) THE TOKYO STORY OF ADAM ONDRA AND SPORTS JUDGING by Jiri Kalemba and Karel Kubeška, published by EPOCHA Publishing House, is on the shelves of bookstores from 19.
MEDAILE FOR A MOMENT received a symbolic christening at the Brno climbing centre HANGAR (Climbing Playground by Adam Ondra), where key people who were behind the book's birth met. The gripping sports story from Tokyo is enriched by ten interviews with athletes, officials, climbing course builders, physiotherapists and coaches. Many of them attended the December launch and in short speeches wished the book many happy readers.
The Word Gave the Word. And literally. We were discussing with Jirka Kalemba his experiences at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and the description of the combination of gushing emotions, methodical professionalism and reaction to the fast-paced events of the sport climbing competition gave us the idea to share the original mix with readers.
