The game against the Scots didn't start well. In the first end, the opponent's five, and we hadn't even taken a breath yet. It took us a while to recover, but then we tried to tighten up and in the eighth end we were in a very promising position to close the gap to one. Murihead played a brilliant runback with the last stone to score for two. Yet in the last end we still created a position where the Scottish skip had to play a good hit against a two which would have meant an extra end. The Scotswoman managed it and so in the end a paper tight loss 9 : 10. Now we have practice and then we go to bed. More games tomorrow. Jirka is better now.
