Qualification system.
Two wins, namely against the Norwegians and another Estonian team, gave the Czech national team hope of advancing to the next fights. We needed a little help, but everything fell into place quite logically. After a fighting performance against the northerners (Mesloe), when especially in the end we had to exert all our strength to win, and a quick win against the home team, we looked at the DSC table and it turned out that we are in third place overall in this discipline. What we needed was a Kaldvee (Turmann) win over Mesloe. However, that didn't happen in the end with the Estonian's failed last stone. If we had played according to the WCT system applied in Basel, for example, we would have reached the quarterfinals thanks to a good DSC. As it is, we are out of the game. That's a shame. So tomorrow we will "only" practice and go home on Monday.
