Summer camp.

The second week of July is traditionally the time when the Czech women's national team prepares together for the upcoming season. This year has a few minor differences. Eva Králová (Bínová), who always prepared the fitness program, is not with us. Instead of her, there is Matyáš, who introduced himself on the first day with a structured training containing many new elements. Apart from the girls from Libok, the junior team Ledoborci NG led by Jan Zelinger also chose the Nymburk venue. Honza remembers the Nymburk camps well from the time when he was a member of the junior national team. The Jičín juniors are due to arrive in a week, bringing the number of participants to eighteen. This afternoon, in addition to the aforementioned training, was spiced up with a football game with rules that allow men and women to be fully combined in the team. The evening pool and hydromassage relaxation was followed by a solid dinner with a decent selection of salads, fruit and buns. Nymburk evenings tend to be full of chat about curling, sport in general and life in general. So was today's, Tuesday's. As always, we are inspired by the sharing of sports facilities with our best javelin throwers (Nikola Ogrodníková, Jakub Vadlejch, etc.), led by Jan Železný, other top athletes, e.g. the Olympian Jiří Mužík, but also young Chinese footballers.
