Liboc women - FALCON - advanced to the 1st league!

The women's team from Sokol Liboc, playing under the name Falcon, advanced from the division to the first women's league. After several years of training efforts under the guidance of coach Anna Kubešková, the foursome of Ivana Kubešková, Ivana Vinšová, Anna Candrová and Michala Čiháková managed to make it through the final part of the competition and win the 12-member field of the women's division. This year, for the first time, the extra time was played with the same system as in the extra league. The Falcon team not only won the long term competition, but in the extra time they first took on the Citadel team and then overcame the ambitious PLC team with an overwhelming victory. On behalf of the whole Sokol Liboc club, I congratulate the Falcon women and keep my fingers crossed for next year.
