The Czech Republic Mixed Doubles Championship took place in the curling hall Roztyly from March 31 to February 4, 2025. The eight participating pairs first played a complete round robin in three days - i.e. matches against each other, and the results determined the four that advanced to the page play-off, i.e. the superstructure part. The wild card holders of the pair playing under the banner of Liboce - Michaela Baudyšová and Martin Jurík - finished just below the line. With the same win-loss ratio as the third (Cihlářová, Macek) and fourth (Dion WC - Zelingrová, Chabičovský), however, they did not slip into the superstructure. In this case, the decisive criterion for the three teams was the DSC (Draw Shot Challenge), which Liboc had the worst. The match between the first and second was won by Dukla (Paulová, Paul) and Dion WC advanced to the semifinals, which was subsequently advanced to the Monday final by a win over the junior duo Krupičková and Blaha. The evening match between Dukla and Dion could have been decided by the youngsters twice, but they were not successful in the decisive execution, so a well-deserved "punishment" came in the form of an expertly played triple-pointer in the eighth end, which brought victory to Zuzana Paulová and Tomáš Paul. The Tuesday morning match was eagerly awaited to see if Vítek and Julia would manage to go to the third decisive match. The final hit-stay really brought Dion the win and everything was to be decided in the final third match. The younger pair was better from the start, and even though Paulovi managed to reach a difference of one point, the triple-pointer in the seventh end decided the champions of the republic for this season. Thanks to an excellent performance in the superstructure, the Czech team in the Mixed Doubles category became Dion WC – Zelingrová, Chabičovský. The technical conditions for the game were more than good this time and the participants praised both the durability, speed and the spin of the ice.
