The Women's World Curling Championships are about to start.

From Monday to Tuesday, 13-14 March 2017, the Czech women's curling team moved from Prague to Beijing. The flight was ok, just the time difference of seven hours is a bit annoying. The hotel is fine, the accommodation is good, the hall is right across the main avenue. So far we have been out for a couple of meals. Mostly rice with something. Tasty and at a good price. We also visited Korean Barbeque where they took care of us by grilling everything for us and we just consumed. The Great Wall of China is a really big wall in China. Since the part where we were isn't actually original, even though it's decades old, it loses a bit of its charm, but the fact is that some parts are extremely steep and there are lots of Chinese people everywhere. We had an official training session today. The ice is slower so far, a bit tricky, but I think Hans will do something about it. During the interview he only mentioned that China and Korea are like night and day. What works in Korea doesn't work here. We'll see, it should be OK. We are looking forward to the games. We are in a fighting mood, but not hysterical. We want to play a quality game that will entertain us and the spectators and grab as many wins as possible.
