WSC 2012 in Sweden

The two national junior teams arrived in Ostersund, Sweden, late yesterday evening. The Scandic hotel is not exactly great (there is a jackhammer here and there), but I don't think we can complain. We did some training. At first we were a bit surprised by the big spinning ice, but by the end we were getting used to it. Speed-wise it's pretty good. The minor organizational issues that the Swedes have had, we are calmly dealing with. Tonight is the Welcome Reception - we will eat there and go to bed early. Tomorrow the girls go to Canada and then to the USA and the boys to the Swiss. It won't be a rest day for sure.
