The men have one win so far. The games against Switzerland and Scotland were evenly matched, but the ending always belonged to the opponent. Sweden and Canada await us. Both will be very difficult, but we have seen mistakes from both Moskowy (Canada) and Ericsson (Sweden). The whole thing is played in such a way that a tie-break for retention is not out of the question. The women played an important game against France. A win would mean almost certain participation in next year's World Championships and would also give a good chance for the final battles. A two in the first end could have easily been a three, but then we added a one without advantage and calmed down a bit. In the end it turned out to be a significant win. Today's match with Switzerland (skip Siegrist) was marred by a few rocks that "took the dirt". Unfortunately they were mostly ours, and one even so important that it probably decided the whole game. At 3 : 3 in the ninth we were playing center guard, but the dirt sent the stone to the perfect corner guard. The Swiss used the guard perfectly, and we couldn't score a deuce in the tenth, even though we were a short distance away. It's a pity, but there is still something to fight for - the best possible position! photo: boys in action, women after the win over France
