Men on a winning streak!

The Czech team managed to get another interesting scalp in the third versus fourth match. The young Danish team, supplemented by an experienced player on the three (Fredriksen) did not find a recipe for the quality of our game and even though they got out of big trouble after the Czechs' hesitation (from 4 : 8, in two ends to 8 : 8), they lost in the extra end. It should also be remembered that the Danish team Stjerne is the silver medallist from the last European Championships. For our team a win means tomorrow's match against the Norwegians for a place in the final. In case of a loss, we go back to the Danes and play for bronze. In case of a win we will meet the Swedes (Edin) and we will be sure of at least a silver medal. Really a fantastic streak so far. The women battled the Swiss for the opportunity to not play a challenge against the winners of the B's and qualify straight for worlds. The match was even and interesting until the end, but Linda's last stone was out of the unplayable category, so Feltcher didn't have to play her last stone. Just like last year, the women will be fighting for the Worlds until the end of the championship. Huge thanks to both teams for representing the Czech Republic so far. We have Group A for next year in both categories, the men are fighting for the world, and the women are even very close to a medal. Czech curling is showing its strength again.

I have a meeting tomorrow morning and then I'll be home from Moscow - thank God. So no more news from me from Moscow, just best wishes for the best stones for our teams.
