The Scots tend to be an opponent that we are normally confident of, especially when Murdoch is in the lineup. The game was very even and the Scots gained a slight advantage at the half, but then the Czechs created situations that Brewster couldn't solve. A final hit and stay by Jirka meant the win. Great start!!! The women started well, but lost a promising lead in the seventh end and by the end of the match they could not find the strength to turn it around. The loss is unfortunate, it could have been won.
