The previously undefeated Canadians, led by Coach Earl Morris (father of Olympic gold medalist John), were our opponent for the evening. The match ended after seven ends with a score of 3 : 9. By the seventh end we were a worthy opponent to a very strong team from overseas. Several times we messed with skip Homan's head, but it was not enough. The opponent was more accurate and actually better in every aspect. The seventh end brought a four, after several mistakes and a final, somewhat unlucky attempt to eject the opponent's stone and roll for stones in the ring. So the situation becomes clear: seventh to tenth place belongs to the Czechs, Germans, French and Scots. Tomorrow the placings will be decided, we have the Germans, the Scots play the Swedes and France will challenge China. All this at 12.30 our time. Photo: Terka, Anna and Jirka
