We're confident in the Scots. What about us?

We went into the game with both optimism and a bit of apprehension. On the one hand, the Czech teams have been doing well against the Scots lately, on the other hand, it can hardly be an endless series, because there is no doubt that the Scottish teams have been among the best for a long time, and that Scotland (and the UK) is putting a lot of money into curling. The girls and their coach spent the morning exploring the marine aquarium and the viewpoint over the city, and then after a good lunch and a short rest, it was off to the hall and the important match. In the fifth end we lost the measurement by a Scottish deuce and went into the break with the score at 3 : 5. In the sixth end only a deuce came out and then, after some not very good games, two nil ends. In the ninth we took it a bit of an either/or and unfortunately the 'or' came out. A three by the Scots ended the match (result 4 : 8). A well fought, evenly matched match gave the Scots a round robin record of 7 wins and 2 losses. We still have the Russians tomorrow. Is that the straw we're gonna grasp?
