Recruitment of 12-year-olds.
On the twenty-sixth of May the recruitment of twelve-year-olds for curling took place in the Na Roztylech hall. The whole event was organized following the visit of children from the Primary School Jižní. About sixty children divided into two groups had the opportunity to try curling and to express whether they would be seriously interested in our sport. The result is a list of 29 children who both showed some talent and also a keen interest in curling. Six instructors (Kubeška, Vojtuš, Slavik, Černovská, Marša and Šafaříková) not only led the curling presentation but also closely monitored the children's behaviour and their ability to respect the instructions and understand the meaning of the game. For selected children, a continuation in late August or early September in connection with the Starburst event is under consideration.
