Challenging day 2. Three games again.

Praise God, today at least not from eight but from eleven. We had Swiss team Schlachter written on the dance order. We were up five-two at the half and a pretty solid performance kept the end of the game under control. We waited anxiously to see who would meet us next on our journey through the tournament web. However, no unknown exotic opponent awaited us in the match from 17,00. It was the Germans again, and the same ones. Skip Jentsch. We may have announced somewhere that we're saving a win against this team for the World Championships, but that's just a bluff on our part. We came at them hard and after three ends we were up 5 to 1. We kept up the good performance, including successful measurements (see photo). The result was a handshake after six ends. Pleasantly, this left us time for the sponsor's dinner. In less than an hour we had the Chinese team Yu Han on lane number two. Asian opponents for the first time this year. At the half, we were even, 2-2. The fifth end was a blank and in the sixth end we got a bit of an unfortunate two after a good run. In the seventh, we had a stone on three, but we clinked over the guard. China was able to hold on to the ending and we closed out our appearance in Bern just before the quarterfinals.
