Sunday's doubleheader starts with Switzerland.

Team Tirinzoni, recently reinforced by world champion Alina Paetz, is one of the favourites for this championship. We started with them on lane A at 9.00 local time. Despite gaining an advantage for the first end, we got behind one and in the following end we failed to blank. With the score at one-one, we had to play a heavy angle raise in the third end to get rid of two of our opponent's stones, but we missed it by a whisker. We got behind three and then overswept a good draw. By the break we managed to reduce it to 3 : 5, but our opponent was in control for the rest of the game and although we kept within striking distance, we didn't get many opportunities. Losing 5 : 8 corresponds to the ratio on the track. Mentally we are already preparing for the evening match against Scotland, who lost to Sweden a little while ago. The points went to the Russians, Latvians and one of the pair of Finland and Germany. The boys start with Slovakia, which is full of Pitons again.
