Negativity is positive.

It seems that our stricter quarantine regime, which we kept in Prague for a few weeks before our departure, has borne fruit. The result of the first round of testing of the entire Czech team is marked "negative". In the meantime, we have already passed the second round of throat swabs and we will wait a few hours for the result. We have fixed times from the organizers at which we will arrive at the test site. We wait at intervals for a while, sign an identification form and then one of the nurses takes over. I asked mine if it was hard work. She said it wasn't and that the important thing was to get it right. Our daily routine includes elements of physical training and communication via Zoom, in addition to the obvious meals. Online, we not only discuss organizational matters, but also drink coffee together and tell stories. We also solve mathematical examples together and make words out of rearranged letters. Our stay is made more enjoyable by TV curling broadcasts, which complement the range of sports channels, mainly hockey, baseball and basketball. The second Curling Grand Slam is already in the build-up phase and we are getting more and more excited for the moment when we step onto the championship ice for the first time. And that should be in three days.
