Undefeated, but still "only" second.
The tournament in Bern (Eger Cup) was part of the preparation of the men's team of Sokol Liboc for the European Championships 2016. In 2013, we narrowly lost one match here, which cost us the tournament win. This year was different. We didn't dominate in all the games, but on a relatively unturnable ice, we won the first three games and then came the tougher opponents. Especially the last game against the currently best Swiss juniors was a test of our abilities. The girls played with precision, had great draws and the first half of the match was tough. But we didn't panic and after halftime we beat the Swiss. Overall, we had two fewer ends than the next undefeated team in the tournament, but that's the way it goes with Schenkel. It's a pity we couldn't have had a final, there was no time for that. Good tournament, nice Airbnb accommodation (a bit crazy interior).
