No sooner is one season over than we open a new one. This year we have timed the summer preparatory camp in Nymburk for the beginning of July and the feast of the saints Cyril and Methodius is the opening day. There are seven of us here and right at the beginning we had a football match, also a bit under the impression of the ongoing Women's World Cup. It went well, nobody got hurt. We had an intensive swim followed by relaxation in the hydro-massage pool. Dinner was traditionally very good. We closed the day in the classroom. We opened the glass doors that face the river and in a pleasant summer atmosphere we watched the exciting duel between the Canadian and Swiss curlers for the 2019 World Championships. Of course, we watched it on tape.
