Ezhen jumped into the line-up and replaced Bětka. We were up against arguably the best team of the moment, a team we have never won against, even though we have met them three times in the last year. The Swedes were able to take advantage of a bit of a nervous start on our part, especially when we missed two important draws. From 8 : 1 the Swedes eased off the gas and we started to play good curling. The score was slightly adjusted, but it was clear that the northerners were not going to let us do anything big. At the end of the eighth end we played a perfect draw and congratulated our opponent on the win. The Swedes really seem to be playing in a different league. There are some little things we could take a cue from. Tonight we will be at practice preparing the stones for the final game against Switzerland. That starts at 2 p.m.
